Isn't an emergency bag a bit over the top? Not at all, think of it like a fire extinguisher or your car's seatbelt. You hope you'll never need it, but when the moment comes, you'll be glad you had it sorted. The Dutch government itself now advises, via its Denk Vooruit campaign, that households should be self-sufficient for 72 hours.

What's actually in the Emergency Bag? Our bag is assembled according to the Denk Vooruit checklist and includes first-aid supplies, a water filter, a reliable emergency radio/light source, an emergency blanket, tools for warmth and light, and hygiene items. Does it meet the government's advice? Yes, our bags are assembled according to the checklist from the Dutch government's "Denk Vooruit" information booklet. We don't claim an official seal of approval (none exists for emergency kits), but we do align closely with that guidance.

Do I still need to add anything myself? Yes, a few things are best kept up to date yourself: enough food and drinking water per household member, cash (small denominations), and any personal medication. This is also clearly stated on the instruction card included in your bag.

Can I build my own emergency bag? Yes, you can already do this. Use our configurator to build your own bag: start with a base bag and add what matters for your situation.

How fast will my order arrive? Ordered before 4 PM on a business day, your order ships the same day. You'll receive a tracking code with your shipment.

What if I'm not satisfied? You have 30 days to decide. Still not sure after unpacking? Simply return it for a full refund. See "Shipping & Returns" for the exact steps.
